Is there any way of keeping the Watkins family out of the public eye, we ask ourselves?
Here we see Howie, in September, fronting an item about Orinoco swap stores for BBC1.
NORMAN’S NEW COMPUTER
A great family lunch took place at the Old Trout at the beginning of November.
This was to celebrate Norman and Jean’s 45th wedding anniversary and also Alison
and Howie’s 2nd, the birthdays of Rachel and Ben and Amy’s baptism, last year.
All the ladies were dressed most glamorously and Howie too, until the male solidarity
front made him remove his tie.
The Old Trout organised a huge table in a separate room for this party of 13.
Amy chuckled with glee when she saw the gathering and having demolished her mother’s
gravadlax, spent her time circling the room, relating to each person in turn. By
half past three, however, she had had enough of fun and festivity and stood waving
the room goodbye, till people got the point.
IT WAS NECESSARY FOR THE FANSHAWE FLYER’S PHOTO FAKING DEPARTMENT TO BORROW HOWIE’S
TIE FOR THIS PICTURE. STANDARDS MUST BE MAINTAINED.
